Update on enerCEE Website of country profile of Macedonia

the update was established in close cooperation with Professor Dr. Konstantin Dimitrov, member of the presidency of the Macedonian Center for Energy Efficiency

Macedonia is a small republic resulting from the break-up of the former SR Yugoslavia; its constitutional name is the Republic of Macedonia; due to the Greek resistance the reference of the State in the UN is  the “Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia“. It has been independent since 1991. it aspires to join the European Union and, accordingly, is in the process of harmonising and privatising its energy sector.
