OX2 funds Poland's Rutki solar farm advances hybrid IPP goal

OX2 has secured financing from NORD/LB for the 100 MW Rutki solar farm in south-west Poland, marking its first step toward becoming a hybrid Independent Power Producer (IPP).

The project is expected to produce approximately 108 GWh annually, powering around 22,000 households. Construction is underway, with completion anticipated in early 2025 and full operation by year's end. The Rutki Solar Farm benefits from a 15-year Contract for Difference (CfD) with the Energy Regulatory Office, covering about 50% of its expected production. This development follows OX2's delisting on October 21, 2024, and its acquisition by EQT, which aims to expand OX2's business model from a pure developer to a hybrid IPP.
