CINEA supports Poland's Pomeranian Hydrogen Cluster

The European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA) has awarded €190,000 to the Pomeranian Green Hydrogen Cluster to promote the cross-border development of renewable energy.

Led by GAZ-SYSTEM and partners, the project will explore the feasibility of producing green hydrogen from wind and solar energy in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland. The initiative aims to develop a hydrogen network for distribution throughout Poland and Germany, supporting the integration of renewable energy and promoting cross-border cooperation. It will also assess the conditions for building hydrogen infrastructure along the Polish-German border, paving the way for scalable renewable hydrogen production. This project contributes to regional efforts such as the Nordic-Baltic Hydrogen Corridor, enhancing Europe's hydrogen capabilities and accelerating the clean energy transition in the Baltic Sea region.
