EBRD grants Turkey €25 million green loan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is strengthening the green finance sector in Turkey with a €25 million loan to QNB Finansleasing.

The loan, part of the Türkiye Green Economy Financing Facility II (GEFF II), aims to support sub-borrowers in implementing sustainable energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate resilience measures. Aligned with Türkiye's 2053 net-zero goals, GEFF II continues the EBRD's successful track record in green financing. QNB Finansleasing, a major player in the leasing sector since 1990, brings expertise in tailor-made, sustainability-focused solutions. This collaboration reinforces both institutions' commitment to sustainable financing in support of climate goals.
