Agenos Energy and CGES AD plan construction of 87.5 MW solar park in Montenegro

Agenos Energy and CGES AD Podgorica have joined forces to build and connect an 87.5 MW solar park in Vraćenovići, Montenegro, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project, which is expected to be operational in 2028, will be connected to the grid via a new 220/110 kV substation in Vilus, which will also supply other solar plants in the region. Solar capacity in Montenegro nearly doubled last year to 42 MW, demonstrating the country's growing potential for renewable energy.
