European Energy to build two solar farms in Poland financed by mBank

European Energy and mBank are planning to build two new solar parks in Poland with a total capacity of 70 MW: the Łobez PV Park with a capacity of 16 MW and the Dębnica Kaszubska PV Park with a capacity of 54.2 MW.

The financing, provided by mBank, amounts to EUR 33.3 million. The solar parks are currently under construction and are expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Once the solar parks are fully operational, European Energy will have a capacity of 200 MW of renewable energy in Poland. The solar parks will generate 67 GWh of renewable energy per year, enough to supply 17,600 European households. European Energy has been on the Polish market since 2007 and its total new renewable energy capacity amounts to approximately 5 GW.
