EBRD has committed €12.2 million for solar PVs in Romania

The development of two solar power plants in Dolj County, Romania, has received €12.2 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The financing supports Romania's renewable energy targets and is part of a €24.4 million package. The beneficiary of the loan, Danube Solar Five, is owned by the Lithuanian INVL Renewable Energy Fund I, which is managed by UAB INVL Asset Management. Eiffel Investment Group will provide the remaining €12.2 million. The Robanesti and Pielesti plants will have a combined capacity of 60 MW.
