Turkey imposes duties on imports of PV modules

The Turkish government has decided that solar modules imported from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia and Jordan will be subject to a duty of $25/m2.

Last year, the Turkish authorities imposed a duty of $20/m2 on all modules imported from China. This measure is part of the anti-dumping proceedings that the Turkish government is conducting against imports of solar modules from Asia. If the investigation shows that no anti-dumping practices were applied in the countries concerned, the duties paid by the manufacturer will be refunded.
