The aim is to increase the use of clean energy in Bulgaria's energy sector. The ministry announced that 1,425 MW of new renewable energy generation and 350 MW of energy storage will be added to the power grid. The initiatives are financed by the Bulgarian Recovery Programme (RRP). Companies from all sectors, with the exception of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, can submit project applications until 12 June.
