Albania starts auction for 300 MW of new PV capacity

The Albanian government has launched its fifth round of auctions for new PV projects to expand the electricity grid by 300 MW of new capacity.

The projects should have a power generation capacity of between 10 and 100 MW and the government intends to sign a 15-year power purchase agreement. The government's goal is to become a net energy exporter by the end of the decade.
