Greenvolt Power participated in the auction conducted by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. (PSE), the Polish transmission system operator, with six independent energy storage projects with a total grid-secured capacity of 1.4 GW, for which long-term capacity payments of 1.2 GW were granted. These projects make up the largest BESS portfolio that has ever been auctioned in Poland. The wind projects will provide reserve capacity for the Polish grid when the minimum capacity of the grid is not guaranteed. The contracts include 17-year capacity payment obligations.
