Shell Bulgaria plans to install 64 EV charge points in 2024-25

Shell Bulgaria plans to install 64 charging points for electric vehicles at 16 filling stations in the country over the next two years. Increased consumer demand has led to increased investment in the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.

The project is partly funded by the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). One of Shell Bulgaria’s sustainability goals is to equip filling stations with photovoltaic (PV) modules on the roof. The existing solar modules at 13 stations replace around 18% of energy consumption with green electricity.
