Offshore wind capacity expanded in Poland and Estonia

The Polish Government aims to upscale renewables until 2040, and as a part of this approach extend offshore wind capacity.

To realize this goal, two projects are in the pipeline, Baltica 2 and 3, with the overall capacity of 2.500 MW. They will be located in the neighborhood of Ustka and Leba.

The Dutch company Van Oord and the Estonian Saare Wind Energy joined forces to develop an offshore wind park called Saaremaa. Saare Wind Energy is an Estonian developer, which is responsible for the 154 square meter offshore wind park with the expected output of 600 MW. This wind park will be built on the South-Western Estonian island, called Saaremaa.
